General Terms and Conditions
Acceptance of these Terms - By browsing on the website you are deemed to have accepted these terms. Specifically when registering on the My PC Direct website you must tick that you have read and acknowledge these Terms and Conditions (T&Cs)
You must be 18 years or older to use this Website. Should you be under 18 you must use the site with the consent and guidance of your parents or legal guardian.
This site is for your personal use only. You may not use the site for any commercial purposes. My PC Direct sells direct to the public, and offers no wholesale terms or arrangements to dealers.
Your order constitutes an offer to purchase and all orders are concluded by your acceptance of the items on delivery. All payments are immediate and final, and orders will only be processed once payment is received. However receiving payment does not indicate acceptance of the order.
My PC Direct may, at it's discretion refuse any orders or registrations or cancel any orders and registrations for any reason.
The website may contain links to third-party websites, such as manufacturers, distributors etc. My PC Direct has no control over these third-party sites, and is not responsible for the content on them.
The website is provided as is, and use of the site is at your own risk. Neither My PC Direct, its Directors, Employees, Agents, Service Providers or Suppliers are responsible for any damages or loss resulting from, or relating to, the use of any aspect of the site, or products sold from it.
Registration is free, and without obligation to buy. Adding items to your cart or wishlist do not constitute a sale. A sales agreement between us and you only occurs when you checkout and pay for your purchases.
Use of the site is at the discretion of My PC Direct. All rights are reserved and we reserve the right to discontinue service to any person(s) at our discretion.
My PC Direct is the sole owner of information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to any outside parties. We collect information from our customers to process orders and better serve you with pertinent information, such as order confirmations and order status updates. Information collected includes your name, shipping address, telephone numbers and e-mail address.
We also require you to submit a password of your choice for your future access to your account information. To safeguard that your user name (your email address) and password remain confidential, DO NOT share this information with anyone. If you elect to receive our newsletter or special promotions, your contact information will be used for the delivery of these items. We do not allow third parties to collect information on our users.
For statistical purposes some non-personal information regarding site usage, browsing and ordering is supplied to 3rd parties for analysis. This information is only used to track broad patterns and effectiveness of the site and advertisements, and does not include contact or payment information.
For Interest Based marketing purposes we use 3rd Party cookies in order to deliver tailored advertisements best suited to your interests. These will be displayed across an array of websites. Note opting-out will not mean you will no longer receive advertisements, just that we will no longer deliver ads tailored to your web preferences and usage patterns.
The prices indicated on My PC Direct are the prices you will pay for the particular item at this time. When you checkout with an item your price is fixed, and will not change even if the product’s price goes up or down.
Delivery Charges apply and will be added to your order during the checkout phase. These delivery charges are dependant on the current courier rates, the value of your parcel and the location being delivered to.
Pricing Errors - While every care is taken to avoid incorrect pricing on the website, should an error occur My PC Direct reserves the right to cancel an order and refund any amount paid for it. We accept no obligation to honour the prices erroneously displayed on our website. Should an error occur where the price is too high for an item, the difference between the price you paid, and the current price of the item, may be credited to your My PC Direct profile, if it is reported on the same day as the original order.

All sales for Televisions and Equipment capable of receiving a Television Signal, require a valid TV Licence from the SABC. Please submit your valid SABC TV Licence when ordering a Television set or Television receiving equipment.
Where appropriate the age restrictions or guidelines are listed for each product. You are solely responsible for ensure that these restrictions or guidelines are adhered to. My PC Direct accepts no responsibility, or liability, for any failure to adhere to the restrictions for items purchased from our website.
My PC Direct provides an import service for our customers. These items are not part of our stock in trade, and are listed on the site for cataloguing purposes only. When you place an order through the website for an import item, you are requesting us to import the item on your behalf.
Copyright holders who find items catalogued on our site, that they believe should not be catalogued, should please contact us immediately.
All warranties and returns for items imported on your behalf are held with the companies the items are imported from. My PC Direct will assist you with any issues regarding these warranties. The local distributors for the items are not obligated to provide any assistance for them.
Should you wish to cancel an item that we are importing on your behalf please note that a 25% re-stocking fee may be charged, to cover the costs associated with sending the item back.
Please note that imported items using electricity may require different electrical adapters to work in South Africa. My PC Direct does not provide these, and the onus is on you to ensure that items imported on your behalf will work in South Africa. My PC Direct is not responsible for any damage caused by using incorrect electrical supplies.
Images are used on the site for illustration purposes only. The image may not be an accurate representation of the actual product. My PC Direct accepts no responsibility for the image on the site not being the same as the actual product.
You may not link directly to any of our images. Nor may you download the images for your own re-use or for any commercial use whatsoever.
My PC Direct delivers to addresses within the borders of South Africa. All deliveries are via courier to physical address. All information regarding deliveries and delivery costs can be found in our help. My PC Direct reserves the right to amend our delivery policies, prices and services without notice.
Where our couriers are unable to deliver a parcel to you, for any reason, we will be advised and will contact you to attempt delivery again. If after 7 days we are unable to deliver the parcel to you, we will have it returned to us, and will cancel the order, and credit you for it, less the delivery fee and a 10% re-stocking fee.
While we make every effort to ensure that accurate shipping estimates are provided on the website, we make no warranty that all items will definitely arrive within said time. Unfortunately items may be delayed for a variety of reasons beyond our control. You may cancel a delayed item, without incurring any re-stocking fees, at your discretion, or wait for it to arrive. When we are informed of any delays that will mean your items will arrive after the shipping estimate period has elapsed, then we will attempt to notify you as soon as possible.
All parcels are fully insured until they are delivered to you. You take responsibility and ownership of the parcel when signing for it on delivery.
Please visit our Help for current Returns policies. My PC Direct adheres to all manufacturer warranties, as specified on the website. These warranties are normally limited to repair, replacement or refund of the items, as may be determined by our suppliers. User inflicted physical damage will invalidate the warranty. Determination of user inflicted physical damage is at the sole discretion of ourselves, and our suppliers and their agents will determine at their discretion if any item has been damaged by the user.
Items ordered may be cancelled at any time, unless otherwise stipulated. My PC Direct reserves the right to withhold a 10% restocking fee for any items cancelled by you, after payment has been received.
My PC Direct may cancel any order at any time for any reason. Should My PC Direct cancel an order after you’ve made payment you will be credited or refunded in full, according to your preference.
Payment options provided by My PC Direct are listed in our Help. These options are subject to change, and may be discontinued or replaced without notice.
When paying by Credit Card we will debit the card immediately upon your order being approved by our administration. All orders are subject to approval by My PC Direct and are checked for your, and our protection, against our fraud protocols. As part of such a process you may be requested to provide additional information to verify your identification.
Orders for which payment has not been received within 4 working days may be cancelled without notice.
Where competitions are run on the site, My PC Direct and it’s employees will be the sole judge of deciding the winner. No correspondence will be entered into.
From time to time My PC Direct will co-operate with a partner and offer Discount Coupons. When such Coupons are offered the following Terms and conditions apply :
- The Coupon will only apply to the products it's associated with in the communication you receive
- A coupon may only be used once
- If for any reason an order using a coupon cannot be fulfilled then you will only be credited or refunded for the amount you paid, not including the value of the coupon.
- All coupons will have an expiry date and are only valid until that date
- Only one coupon may be used per order
